So, so happy to hear your bone marrow biopsy came back clean! What great news! Congratulations! I just had my one year biopsy and it came back clean as well. It is the best feeling ever. I’m sorry to hear the GVHD is hitting you hard. It is truly the hardest part of recovery. I am still dealing with it over a year out and find it horribly frustrating. I hope whatever immunosuppestant they have you on starts kicking back the GVHD. Congratulations again and I wish you the best of health though your recovery. Best- Jules

Dear Jonathan,
My name is Lesley. I have been following your story since last September, 2009 when my sister Jennifer Jones Austin http://www.savejen.com was diagnosed with leukemia – acute myeloid leukemia. Just like you and your family, our world was turned upside down as we desperately searched for a bone marrow transplant match for Jennifer who is African-American. I was sooooooo happy when I heard that your sister was going to be your donor!!!! As it turns out, we recently got news that Jennifer will receive a cord blood transplant this coming Wednesday, February 20th! Praise God!!! I will continue to keep you and your sister in my prayers. Please do the same for Jennifer. God Bless! I am so happy for you and Jennifer and pray that more persons register as bone marrow transplant or cord blood donors to save lives!

Wishing you nothing but the best in the new year. Hoping your transplant recovery is a smooth one. Tami is still doing well, slowly but surely she is getting better and better. I pray for the same for you too and hope that Lynne is feeling back to her usual self by now post donation.
