Sunday is the highly anticipated OMG! 2010 Cancer Summit for young adults, hosted by the great team at i2y.org. Team Haupt is headed to the conference, really looking forward to talking with other YAs who are energized about raising the visibility of the unique issues young adults patients, survivors and their caregivers are faced with and the need for more cancer research focused on YAs as a specific population. It’s a great program of speakers including fellow transplant warrior Ethan Zohn — who I had a chance to speak with at the recent Partnerships in Clinical Trials conference –  Diane Balma from Stand Up 2 Cancer, and a host of patient advocates, online cancer activists, authors, and YA cancer researchers.
